OverviewGovCIO is currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator for our client. The candidate should be aTalented and committed IT Professional with experience and ability to design, develop and deliver solutions to complex business problems through technology an innovation.The position can be located in San Antonio, or Washington, DC and is a hybrid remote position.ResponsibilitiesInstall ServiceNow instance core setup and configuration and customizationsContribute to roadmap and strategy presentations that align to organizational goals and resources.Participate in the full SDLC Requirements Gathering, Analysis, design, and coding, testing, training, and operational support using agile methodologiesWork with process owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements within ServiceNow and proposing resolution and design suggestionsDesigning solutions to enhance IT service requests in Service Request Management module by developing JavaScript programs and workflows.Timely support of any implementation and performance issues reported on ServiceNow platformDesign and Configuration of IT, Customer and Employee workflows for multiple type of changes as per the Change Advisory Board requirements as part of the Change Management modules.Configuration of Email Notifications and Alerts to notify users about specific activities in the systemDevelop probes and sensors to update the CMDB through ServiceNow DiscoveryDevelop User Interfaces - Configure and maintain Forms, Lists, Views, UI Policy, UI Scripts, UI Actions, View Rules, Welcome Page Content, Map Pages, and other UI elements for ServiceNow modules.Perform environmental promotional activities from Dev to Stage and Test.Create monthly metric reports for IT management teams and assist with scheduling data exports to application ownersDesigned various custom ServiceNow reports for enhancing higher level management for monitoring the performance of various support teams.Work with application owners to update workflow tasks and approvals for automated processes.Suggest best practices of ServiceNow and ITIL processes across various business groups.Automate maintenance of the service catalogWork with process owners across all ITIL process groups to manage any ServiceNow changes necessary to implement any continuous improvements needed.QualificationsBachelor's with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience10 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience implementing and supporting foundational, ITSM and ITOM Process groups.Experience in designing, development, and implementation of ServiceNow PlatformExperience working with process owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements and configuration settings within ServiceNowExperience working with process owners to schedule jobs, events, and triggers to manage business needs and handle background workExpertise in designing, developing, and deploying configured IT, Customer and Employee workflows to, automate business processes.Good working knowledge in Java Scripting and web technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, and jQuery)Proficient in SOA and Web Services, including REST & SOAP concepts.Database knowledge in the following technologies (DB2, Oracle, and MYSQL)Experience managing data within ServiceNow tables, CMDB import sets, Discovery tools, Users, Groups, and roles.Proficient in creating Service Catalog and Request Workflow design and configuration.Experience in organizational change management efforts across the configuration, customer, fulfiller, user, and approver communities.Experience working with, and provide support for, a ServiceNow governance teamClearance Required: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain Public TrustPreferred Skills and ExperienceProject Management Professional (PMP)Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v4 or v3 foundations)Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ServiceNowCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
