The products, systems and solutions developed by ContiTech are used both in the automotive industry as well as in railway engineering, machine and plant construction, mining, agriculture and other important sectors of the future.Support the Plant Manager and Plant Operating Committee with analysis, reporting, and decision supportDevelop and implement actions/plans to meet the operational targets, strategic goals and customer/market requirementsExplore new investment opportunities. Responsible for Capital Request within the plant including financial analysis & management summary as well as tracking of capital expenditureAnalyze manufacturing variations and provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial situationReview plant expenses and being responsible of the reporting in the course of the month-end/year-end closing as well as for the budget planning (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions by implementing new processes and systemsMonitor controls across the plant to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresEnsure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported resultsResponsible for fixed assets analysis and fixed assets inventory countManage and review standard cost calculations on new products and develop new rates for yearly standard costing updatesAssist in the completion of special projectsSupervise and provide career development for one direct report (controlling analyst)BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor s degree in Economics, Controlling, Accounting and/or Business Administration preferably with a focus in Controlling/Accounting5+ years of Controlling/Accounting experienceOr Minimum of 14 years experience or more if no relevant Bachelors DegreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster s degree in Economics, Controlling, Accounting and/or Business Administration preferably with a focus in Controlling/Accounting8-10 years of Controlling/Accounting experienceManagement / Leadership experienceExperience forecasting and budgeting at a plant or business levelMust possess good understanding of USGAAP/IFRS and interpretation of financial statementsHighly analytical in solving issues and providing direction. Ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions to complex problemsAbility to accurately interpret complex data and business information requiredMust be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities.
