Regency Care of Arlington is looking forcaring and compassionate Virginia Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who strive toprovide exceptional clinical care to our residents. In joining our team ofdedicated healthcare professionals, you will be expected to perform in afast-paced environment and provide personalized care.

CNA PRN Hours available:

1st Shift-7a-3p

2nd Shift-3p-11p

3rd Shift- 11p-7a

Shift Needed: Evening and Nights

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties:
  • Able to lift, turn, move, position, and transport residents, alone or with assistance
  • Observe residents' conditions, measuring/recording food/liquid intake and output as well as vital signs, then report changes to professional staff as applicable
  • Collect specimens such as urine, feces, or sputum
  • Must be able to explain medical instructions to residents and family members
  • Work as part of a medical team that examines and provides service to residents
  • Administer medications and treatments, such as catheterizations, suppositories, irrigations, enemas, massages, and douches, as directed by a physician or nurse
  • Answer residents' call lights
  • Provide residents with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed
  • Must be able to assist residents with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toiletry
  • Transport residents to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents
  • Restrain residents if necessary
  • Prepare, serve, and collect food trays
  • Clean rooms and change linens as instructed
  • Deliver messages, documents and specimens
  • Answer phones and direct visitors as needed
  • Maintain inventory by storing, preparing, sterilizing, and issuing supplies such as dressing packs and treatment trays
  • Perform clerical duties such as processing documents and detailing residents' condition
Requirements:
  • CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant certification must be a graduate of a state approved CNA program
  • Experience: None
