Job description

Duties:Build and maintain a high performing team. Hire and retain the right talent in the right roleFoster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and mentoringManage resources in alignment with forecast modelsPartner with Product resources to identify clear business requirementsManage development resources across multiple technologies including .Net, Java, SQL, NoSQL, Windows, Unix/LinuxWork collaboratively with senior management, architecture and senior development staff to develop broadly acceptable solutionsSet resource goals and delegate project workDrive consistency in artifacts and deliverables, budgets, and resource planningIdentify process improvements and/or ineffective use of project hours and resourcesEnsure resource availability to support deployment activities in various environmentsTake complete responsibility of the full life cycle of projects and oversee software release implementations when requiredDesign and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using multiple technologiesUse a coaching leadership style to promote the Agile values, Principles, and best practices for your Scrum teamHelp your Scrum Team with decision making, dependency management, and eliminating impediments to meet sprint and quarterly execution (release) goalsFacilitate Scrum ceremonies with a relentless improvement mindset to promote Agile maturity within the teamRequirements:8+ years of relevant work experience

with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experienceExperience of managing teams with the following technologies - .Net, Java, SQL, NoSQL, Windows, Unix/LinuxExperience managing full life cycle of projects and overseeing software release implementationsExperience managing large scale environmentsEither direct experience of Scrum Master responsibilities, or extensive Agile development methodology experience (Scrum/Kanban)Agile development methodology experience (Scrum/Kanban) preferredDemonstrated ability to lead, recruit, grow and retain high-caliber talent at scaleExperienced organizing, running, supporting, and growing large technology organizationMust demonstrate longer-term strategic thinking and staying ahead of state-of-the-art curve in order to keep abreast with what s possible technically, operationally and professionallyCapable of forming and advocating independent viewpoint.
