The Communications Specialist operates the VHC Health hospital telephone, voice paging, radio paging and security radio systems. This team member must respond to and appropriately handle all codes and alarms terminating in the communications office. In addition, the Communication Specialist must perform messaging tasks for staff as appropriate.

Job DescriptionPurpose & Scope:

Operates the Hospital telephone, voice paging, radio paging and security radio systems. Must respond to and appropriately handle all codes and alarms terminating in the communications office.
