A Brief Overview

What you will do
  • Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
  • Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
  • Partner with the Product Manager/Owner to understand upcoming work based on product backlog and roadmap and break down projects into epics and user stories.
  • Evaluates the impact of potential software and process changes on business processes.
  • Specifies functional and technical solutions, performs configuration, and implements enhancements and projects.
  • Develops configuration workbook and obtains approval from product manager and/or business owners.
  • Leads Koerber WMS deployments at new facilities.
  • Customize and configure Korber WMS using SQL, Advantage Architect, and Page Editor.
  • Understands product and technology roadmaps and articulates the team's immediate and near-term priorities.
  • Collaborates with technical leaders to design integrations, eliminate tech debt, and improve or modernize the technical architecture of the WMS application.
  • Designs test cases that ensure that implemented solutions function while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Trains and mentors other team members to develop their Koerber technical skills.
  • Supports and trains QA team members responsible for testing Korber WMS.
  • Monitors Korber WMS application and database performance and implements improvements.
  • Investigate production incidents by querying the databases, reviewing log files, inspecting JSON/XML messages, etc.
  • Identifies and fixes the root cause of recurring incidents.
  • Creates ad hoc reports and dashboards using application data and other sources to provide visibility to the health of the Koerber application.
  • Provides relevant application and system logs to Koerber to assist in resolving more complex issues.
  • Ensures Korber releases are tested and implemented.
  • Sets documentation standards, reviewing and providing feedback to other team members.
  • Conducts system demonstrations and training sessions for users and IT analysts.
  • Escalates issues to the Vendor, overseeing their work to ensure quality and adherence to SLAs.


Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.


Experience Qualifications
  • General understanding of Supply Chain concepts and warehouse operations.
  • 4+ years of experience with a top tier WMS application, preferably Koerber.
  • 4+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • 4+ years of experience explaining complex technology concepts/decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 4+ years of experience using SQL and other tools to query databases.
  • 1+ years of experience with Postman or equivalent tool to review JSON/XML payloads.

  • Ability to deliver consistent high-quality results while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment (High proficiency)
  • Strategic attitude with an aptitude to condense complex concepts (High proficiency)
  • Understanding of system context diagrams and conceptual architecture diagrams (High proficiency)
  • Understanding of Advantage Architect, Page Editor, and other Koerber development tools (High Proficiency)
