Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful integration and performance of electrical components within our space systems. This position is dependent on a contract award.Responsibilities:Develop payload electronics architectureDesign PCBs for power and signal distribution within a space environmentManage fabrication, assembly, and bill of materials for manufacturingPerform thermal and radiation analysis of board-level componentsImplement low-level board integration and test plansGenerate documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testRequired Qualifications:Must be eligible to hold a clearance. Experience designing boards that have flown in spaceStrong knowledge of techniques for avoiding and mitigating single event upsets and latchupsUnderstanding of power and thermal constraints within hosted payloadsPrevious environmental test plan development and implementationFamiliarity with embedded programming, including driver and FPGA developmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and technical information clearly and concisely.Preferred Qualifications:Background in camera systems and optical testingStrong understanding of radiation environment for several orbitsEmbedded programming expertiseExperience designing and programming motion control systemsDon't fulfill all the qualifications listed above?
