Job description

Booth Management Consulting, LLC (BMC) is a diverse CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. Position Requirements

  • Negotiating terms and conditions of grants/assistance awards to include costs, schedules, and oversight responsibilities
  • Announcing programs and soliciting applications or proposals for funding under assistance awards
  • Overseeing, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating grants/assistance applications, plans, and estimates
  • Determining awardee eligibility using formulas and methodology
  • Conducting risk assessments and business reviews
  • Awarding and administering grants, cooperative agreements, or other related instruments
  • Reviewing, evaluating adequacy of, and interpreting grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices
  • Providing training, technical assistance, negotiating terms and conditions of grants/assistance awards to include costs, schedules, and oversight responsibilities
  • Preparing, processing, issuing, and tracking grants/assistance awards and compliance with reporting requirements
  • Performing final review of completed awards, making appropriate adjustments or dis-allowances, and processing close-outs
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related fields
  • 1-3 years of experience in federal grants management; knowledge and/or experience working with ARPA or other federal/state grants
  • Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and methods governing the evaluation of federal grants
  • Knowledge of basic business and corporate structures, budgets, and financial schedules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, Access
  • Experience working with electronic federal grants systems a plus
  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
