JOB TITLE: Front Royal Engineering Manager
As the Engineering Manager at our coatings manufacturing in Front Royal, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all the Site processes and equipment, as well as developing and executing on growth and productivity improvements. Your leadership will drive outstanding Capital project execution, PSM compliance, manufacturing improvements and infrastructure stability. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead a team of engineers, project managers and PSM specialists.

JOB TITLE: Front Royal Engineering Manager
As the Engineering Manager at our coatings manufacturing in Front Royal, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all the Site processes and equipment, as well as developing and executing on growth and productivity improvements. Your leadership will drive outstanding Capital project execution, PSM compliance, manufacturing improvements and infrastructure stability. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead a team of engineers, project managers and PSM specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering function at the Site across all disciplines.
- Develop a strong support team to enable strong operational performance, productivity and cost improvement
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams including EH&S, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to support equipment and facilities-related initiatives.
- Lead risk mitigation activities such as FMEAs, Operational Readiness Reviews, Management of Change, and Job Hazard Analyses to ensure employee and customer safety.
- Ensure complete compliance to PSM, OSHA and other regulations including the stewardship of the Site PHA's, MOC and PSSR processes
- Develop a team to support the Site Capital budget for Maintenance, Reliability, Safety and Growth projects. Execute to the annual budget utilizing in-house and external support teams.
- Manage the Site Engineering budget ensuring proper allocation of resources across the Capital and Expense budgets
- Focus on hiring, developing and retaining top talent in a competitive job market
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in engineering. Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years engineering leadership experience
- Strong team management skills, overseeing both employees and contractors effectively.
- Active knowledge of PSM/PHA processes and experience implementing safety systems in a hazardous chemical environment
- Strong Capital budgeting and execution experience. Comfortable with handling large scale expansion and improvement projects
- Strong budgeting and financial experience
- Familiar with SAP or other large scale MRP systems
