Job Description

ANGARAI's Mechanical Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, while adhering to industry regulations and company specifications.

Major Roles and Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Record inspection results, including measurements, deviations, and any non-conformities. Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspection activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and verify the quality of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure that inspection equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained in accordance with established procedures. Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to address any quality-related concerns and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Ensure that all inspections are conducted in compliance with applicable guidelines.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot any quality-related issues that may arise during the manufacturing process. Propose and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of construction activities, highlighting any delays or deviations from the project schedule.

Minimum Qualification and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a master license in the Mechanical domain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related field. Experience with [specific industry or equipment] is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification (e.g., CQI, CQT) is a plus.
