We re on a mission to transform spoken communication for individuals, teams and organizations of any size. Meetings may be our most information-rich channel for work, but suffer from a lack of structure and documentation. At Supernormal, we re solving this problem with focus, design and craft.

We ve been working on this since 2019 and have customers like Forbes, GitHub, Pinterest, Mitsubishi and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we are growing fast and are excited for new teammates to join who are the best at what they do. Supernormal is a remote first company and does not require co-location. We have annual team retreats and gather several times a quarter.

About the role
Supernormal is transitioning from a startup to scale-up. The AMER region represents a significant portion of our user base and global revenue. We are looking for an ambitious sales leader who wants to take Supernormal to the next level. You will be responsible for building a team that can handle 2,000+ new, product qualified organizations a month and achieve revenue targets. We expect you to shape our commercial strategy with our CEO as we expand into new lines of business and expand markets.

What you ll achieve

  • Strategic Revenue Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to generate net new revenue from mid-market and enterprise clients for Supernormal's business products.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, coach, and lead managers across Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), New Business Account Executives, Account Managers, and Customer Success teams. Set clear expectations, manage performance goals, and oversee daily operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Sales Development leaders to develop territory mapping and pipeline growth strategies.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Foster communication and collaboration to cultivate a customer-first mentality. Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to gain insights into the Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Sales Foundations & Processes: Contribute to defining the inbound and outbound sales processes as an early member of the sales organization, helping to establish the framework for future growth.
  • Shape the Future: Gain customer insights to inform product development and provide input into strategic decisions that will shape Supernormal's future.
  • Professional Growth: Take on impactful challenges alongside a talented team to learn and grow. Play a pivotal role in driving significant achievements with a nimble and ambitious team.

These responsibilities will allow you to significantly influence Supernormal's sales trajectory and organizational culture as it scales to new heights.

Requirements

What you ll bring

  • You are experienced in moving a strong bottom-up GTM into mid market enterprise
  • You have 7+ years experience as a direct sales leader
  • You have experience leading inbound and outbound motions across all segments
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets across teams and individually
  • Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • You already know the first 3 to 4 people you want to bring into the organization
  • You have a growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent team
  • You have strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • You have a good understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models

What you can expect from us

  • We re a fully distributed team spread between Pacific Time (Seattle) and Central European Time (Stockholm) with lots of places in between. We ll see you most days in Slack, Google Meet, GitHub issues, and Notion.
