The Role

The Se nior Product Manager, Certifications and Compliance, will join our team and lead the development and growth of our BeyondTrust platform and portfolio of products for the FedRAMP market, Government market, and other compliance & security frameworks. They are responsible for planning and driving compliance and related certification processes through all phases of the product lifecycle for the BeyondTrust product portfolio. This role helps BeyondTrust deliver products that keep our customers safe and compliant themselves and distinguishes us in the industry for our commitment to secure and compliant solutions.

What You ll Do

Define product strategy and roadmap for FedRAMP, product compliance, and required certifications, including detailed product requirements, features, integrations, use cases, and business cases for investment in support of FedRAMP and Compliance SolutionsBe responsible for identifying, attaining, and maintaining certifications across our product lines, working very closely with product management, PubSec/FedGov Sales teams, engineering, compliance, legal, transformation office, and security teamsBe responsible for coordinating all technical activities related to product certificationsDrive completion of all required FedRAMP, DISA APL, Common Criteria, and other activitiesAct as BeyondTrust s Subject Matter Expert on compliance regimes and frameworks, including but not limited to FedRAMP, FIPS, DoD APL, Common Criteria, STIGs, IRAP, Essential 8, and others.Define, validate, and maintain compliance strategy, roadmaps, and investment plans resulting in the growth of new and existing marketsServe as primary Product Manager as well as Program Manager for product compliance attainment and maintenance.Conduct industry and compliance research to understand the current state and upcoming changes in product compliance requirements.Understand software security architectures and apply that to certification and compliance projects as neededAbility to communicate and effectively collaborate with internal (technical and business) and external stakeholdersTechnical acumen and content creation: ability to define and write technical specifications and interpret security and compliance requirements into concrete product requirements

What You ll Bring

4+ years of experience in product certifications, compliance consulting, auditing, or application/systems lifecycle security4+ years experience in Product ManagementAbility to demonstrate previously achieving FedRAMP authorizationDeep understanding of compliance markets and industry trends including FedRAMP High and Moderate, IL4/5/6, Common Criteria NIAP, NIST 800-53, Essential 8, IRAP, etc.to deliver authorization and certifications

Nice To Have

Bachelor s Degree in computer science, business, or engineering preferred.An MBA or Master s Degree in computer science or cybersecurity is a plus.Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC) are also a plus.Experience with and understanding of the Privileged Access Management industryAbility to achieve any required US Government clearances
