Job description

TrueYou Center (TYC) is an accredited Mental Health Center that provides an array of services, which include individual counseling for adults and children, couples and family counseling. TYC strives to improve the quality of life for all clients by providing the highest quality of mental health services and timely access to services and treatments. TYC treats all clients with dignity and respect and hold their confidentiality to the highest of standards. Our therapists provide person centered care geared towards the individual s specific needs and utilize an inclusionary treatment approach that incorporates health and wellness. These services are available to persons who need support regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, and religion.

TrueYou Center is seeking the following mental health professional:

Clinical Social Workers

Clinical Psychologist

Mental Health Counselors

Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors

Marital and Family Therapist

Child/Adolescent Therapist

Qualifications:

Required License: One or more of the following Washington D.C. and/or Maryland/Virginia LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-C LGSW, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT or LGMFT and malpractice insurance is required--no exceptions.

Education:

Master s Degree and higher.

Therapists who are bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply.

Work Environment:

This is a professional and friendly environment and we have the best team members! We provide flexible schedules and work styles to compliment the strength of our employees. Therapists can set their own schedules and caseloads. This is a Hybrid position

Responsibilities:

Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.

Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.

Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.

Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.

Involves and advises family members when appropriate.

Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.

Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.

Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.

Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

A successful candidate will be a warm, self-motivated & flexible psychotherapist interested in an independent contract position that starts with a minimum of 10 -20 hours weekly and has growth potential. If interested please send your resume. This is a Hybrid position
