*Come join our North American team*! ROSEN seeks to add a Software Architect to our team in Columbus, Ohio.

Rosen s North America team develops prototype state-of-the-art tools & software solutions for non-destructive testing of critical infrastructure, manufactured components, and in-field assets. We increase safety of previously uninspectable assets by creating new inspection techniques and equipment. We strive to create a supportive and rewarding environment so everyone can excel.

This position is hybrid remote, with expectation to live in Columbus, Ohio. This position will be leading the Columbus Creation team with interaction across all of Rosen North America locations.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Create a vision and solution architecture for the product, designing for extensibility, and the optimal technical approach suitable for solving the targeted use cases.* Lead the awareness of software design and modeling approaches.* Designs the solution for non-functional goals: modularity, extensibility, configurability.* Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure our software solutions are in alignment with the company's goals and strategies.* Developing enterprise-class database-centric applications. Expertise in data-centric product design preferred.* Participate in every phase of software development, ensuring successful application deployment.* Design and optimize databases to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems.* Lead architectural reviews and present solutions and recommendations to stakeholders.* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring our software solutions utilize modern practices.* Creation and maintenance of system architecture documentation* Close collaboration with the development teams, product management and other system and enterprise architects

*Requirements*

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.* Proven experience as a Software Solutions Architect in a software product organization.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Extensive experience in modern software design, architecture design, and data design.* Strong analytical skills and the abstract presentation of complex issues using standardized methods.* Several years of project experience in the development and operation of applications, ideally on classic and cloud technologies* Independent and solution-oriented way of working* Expertise in: .NET, web technologies, Azure, Containerized Services, IPC methods (gRPC, REST etc.), mapping and interaction of/with mechatronic systems* Solid knowledge of software architecture patterns and best practices.* Curiosity and external customer and competitor awareness* Strong leadership and communication skill* Fluent in English
