Description

Orbis is looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Office of the Intelligence Community Chief Financial Officer (IC CFO). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business intelligence principles, data analysis techniques, and the intelligence community landscape. There are multiple openings at the junior, mid and expert experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze data to identify trends and insights relevant to IC financial management and resource allocation.Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.Leverage software/services to transform data into actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions based on data analysis.Collaborate with various stakeholders across the IC on financial management and business intelligence initiatives.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in business intelligence and data analytics.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.Senior/Expert: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience in a proficiency areaMid-Level: Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years experience in a proficiency areaJunior Level: Bachelor's degree with 0 to 5 years experience in a proficiency areaU.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI, Qlik).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with financial management and budgetary analysis.Knowledge of IC structures, processes, and policies.Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.Experience with process improvement methodologies.Familiarity with data management and governance principles.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
