Talascend is currently seeking a Stock Assistant for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Picking and kitting parts, cycle counting, and assisting with other warehouse duties as required.
Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue parts and materials.
Examines stock to verify specifications, requisitions and follows procedures for storing articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock and prepares associated documentation.
Great attention to detail and proactive communication required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Able to use a pallet jack, physically motivated, able to lift & move heavy items (50 lbs.).
Preferences: experience working in a warehouse environment, forklift certified
Pulling Material from Stock Procedures
Receiving and Stocking Procedures
Basic Computer Skills
