Mid-Level Full Stack Developer (TypeScript / React / Python)

No C2C's or 3rd party's

Location: Baltimore, MD (On-site work is REQUIRED)

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Initial Project Description: Our client has an overly complex and outdated system and has an immediate need to simplify & stabilize their dev environment. These are very complex systems. The developers should be willing to roll up their sleeves, be open to working on something they are not familiar with, learn quickly while figuring out tasks, & thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Drive development on the front end (TypeScript, React, etc.)
• Drive development on our next-generation back-end system in Node/TypeScript (e.g. using fp-ts) and Python
• Deploy new applications using Terraform and migrate legacy systems to Terraform.
• Support CI/CD pipeline building and manage infrastructure (AWS, Terraform, Github, CircleCI)
• Design, implement, and maintain data integrations with vendor/third-party systems (e.g. iCIMS, Indeed) in TypeScript

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Typescript - React or Angular

• Database experience, MS SQL
• ETL experience
• Node.js
• CI/CD
• Github
• Has a track record of easily learning new technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with at least a single cloud service (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Must have good organizational skills and the ability to integrate into a communicative and collaborative team.
• Familiarity with functional programming in real world contexts
• Experience communicating with clients and translating their needs to technical plans.
