Essential Functions:
- Oversight of theiImplementation and coordination of the person-centered program plan (i.e.: ISP, PCSP) to include revisions and updates as needed and identified by the person and/or their circle of support.
- Liaison for the circle of support, communication and coordination of all services that the person receives through state and community entities.
- Oversight of all services and disciplines as outlined in the person-centered-plans
- Supervise QIDP/QDDP staff; evaluate, monitor, hire and terminate staff; review and approve staff time records; attend job fairs to recruit new staff;
- Oversee the BSP and TC services in VA and DC to include billing, program operations and compliance.
- Monitor program budgets; assist with annual budget preparation; perform all monthly
- billing; ensure integrity of client funds;
- 11. Work with referral resources to determine if SJCS is right for new consumers;
- 15. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
- Ability to gain thorough knowledge of St. John's Community Services policies and procedures;
- Ability to act as a representative of St. John's Community Services to the public;
- Ability to provide 24/7 coverage for program;
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of administrative management, and the ability to interpret them to the staff and the public;
- Extensive knowledge of program practices and procedures;
- Knowledge of budget preparation and maintenance;
- Ability to keep the all relevant parties informed of all major issues and programs and to recommend changes as appropriate;
- Ability to supervise, plan, and coordinate the work of diverse staff in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, subordinates, representatives from other agencies, and the general public;
- Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions;
- Skilled in the operation of relevant computer systems, including hardware and software, and office machines.
Education and Experience:
- B.A./B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation or related field required; Master's preferred, Licensed clinical professional (LICSW, LPC, BCBA preferred)
- Requires five or more years experience of direct service with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, preferably in a community based residential setting;
- One year supervisory experience required;
- Must meet current SJCS and funding jurisdiction requirements for criminal background/records check.
- Must meet current SJCS and funding jurisdiction requirements for valid health certificate.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with current driving record in good standing required.
