Essential Functions:

  1. Oversight of theiImplementation and coordination of the person-centered program plan (i.e.: ISP, PCSP) to include revisions and updates as needed and identified by the person and/or their circle of support.
  2. Liaison for the circle of support, communication and coordination of all services that the person receives through state and community entities.
  3. Oversight of all services and disciplines as outlined in the person-centered-plans
  4. Supervise QIDP/QDDP staff; evaluate, monitor, hire and terminate staff; review and approve staff time records; attend job fairs to recruit new staff;
  5. Oversee the BSP and TC services in VA and DC to include billing, program operations and compliance.
  6. Monitor program budgets; assist with annual budget preparation; perform all monthly
  7. billing; ensure integrity of client funds;
  8. 11. Work with referral resources to determine if SJCS is right for new consumers;
  9. 15. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Ability to gain thorough knowledge of St. John's Community Services policies and procedures;
  2. Ability to act as a representative of St. John's Community Services to the public;
  3. Ability to provide 24/7 coverage for program;
  4. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of administrative management, and the ability to interpret them to the staff and the public;
  5. Extensive knowledge of program practices and procedures;
  6. Knowledge of budget preparation and maintenance;
  7. Ability to keep the all relevant parties informed of all major issues and programs and to recommend changes as appropriate;
  8. Ability to supervise, plan, and coordinate the work of diverse staff in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives;
  9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, subordinates, representatives from other agencies, and the general public;
  10. Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions;
  11. Skilled in the operation of relevant computer systems, including hardware and software, and office machines.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  1. B.A./B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation or related field required; Master's preferred, Licensed clinical professional (LICSW, LPC, BCBA preferred)
  2. Requires five or more years experience of direct service with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, preferably in a community based residential setting;
  3. One year supervisory experience required;
  4. Must meet current SJCS and funding jurisdiction requirements for criminal background/records check.
  5. Must meet current SJCS and funding jurisdiction requirements for valid health certificate.
  6. Valid state-issued driver's license with current driving record in good standing required.
