SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Engineer I - CIS.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: Thisrole will be supporting the Common Infrastructure System (CIS) team in themaintenance, integration, and testing of submarine combat systems and videodistribution systems at our LMC Manassas, VA site. As a member of the SWFTSteam, you will work in an Agile environment focused on continuous integrationand development of hardware and software.
Specificresponsibilities:
Interface with customers for technical collaboration and system integrationefforts
Foster a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Perform test and evaluation efforts in support of system level testing
Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures
Troubleshoot hardware and software related bugs
Verify and Validate bug resolution
Manage hardware and software configurations
Install and maintain hardware and software
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
Experience with working on teams in a geographically dispersed and virtualenvironment
Familiarity with Linux command line
Familiarity with computer system and switch architecture
Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic with a self-starter mindset
Ability to conduct troubleshooting and testing with procedures
Ability to support traveling to pier-side events to support navy submarinetesting
Excellent communications skills and ability to collaborate with internal andexternal stakeholders
Critical thinker with a continuous learning mindset
Must be able to obtain and hold a DoD Secret level clearance
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline required. Advanced submarine technical training (e.g. Navy "A" or "C" School) can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
