We are currently seeking an Assistant Director, Contracts, reporting directly to the Director, Contracts Management, to help oversee the Contracts Departments processing of commercial (U.S. and non-U.S.) and government (U.S. and non-U.S.) contracts with customers, distributors, resellers and authorized service providers. The Assistant Director, Contracts ensures the companys proposals and contracts are reviewed, approved, executed and stored in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures. The Assistant Director, Contracts is responsible for the daily assignment of contract review actions to members of the Contracts Department, managing workload levels globally among department staff members, and directly supervising Commercial Contracts Managers located in the U.S. The candidate must have business skills/expertise in analysis of complex bid and proposal tenders, and the ability to interact with customers and lead contract negotiations. Additionally, the candidate must have experience managing subordinate Contracts Managers and/or Contracts Administrators. The candidate will interact regularly with senior and executive management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers and therefore must be able to communicate effectively.
