Graduate Student Involvement Coordinator
Job Description:

The Center for Student Involvement and Belonging employs one Graduate Student Involvement Coordinator who is responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities as part of the enhanced scope of work for 20 hours per week:

Administration:
  • Communicate with Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) on a day to day basis to ensure that they are in accordance with the handbook
  • Process and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data gathered for RSO event participants
  • Attend operational meetings with the Director of the Center for Student Involvement and Belonging
  • Facilitate the RSO spending approval process
  • Develop and present the annual expectations to the RSOs in a training style meeting
  • Develop and Facilitate an RSO advisors training and expectations session
  • Process purchasing card transactions through Workday


Coordination:
  • Track and record Registered Student Organizations yearly spending
  • Manage RSO events such as trips, conferences, meetings, etc.
  • Track all meetings and events sponsored by RSOs in a calendar
  • Facilitate bi-weekly meetings with the SGA financial affairs leader and other relevant SGA Officers
  • Communicate with CSIB staff about when the purchasing card will be taken out by an RSO
  • Assist the office with other responsibilities as needed within scope of time commitment of position
  • Develop and implement an event planning checklist and approval sheet for RSO events


Divisional:
  • Staff the centralized front desk in the McGowan Center
  • Supervise the work-study undergraduate student employees that work the desk


Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

The appointed individual will:

Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent with Bachelor's degree preferred.

Have experience with administrative skills including Microsoft Office and organizing and tracking

files with preference given to a candidate with experience working in a college setting

Salary/Hours/Benefits
  • A stipend of $10,000 per academic year.
  • 20 hours per week for 12 months
  • Tuition Remission Benefits
