Core4ce has an opportunity with a mission critical IC Sponsor for a Sr. DevOps Position. This Sponsor organization plays a significant role deploying and maintaining mission-critical applications and related data processing infrastructure. Critical applications will be containerized, with management and maintenance of containers automated to the maximum extent possible. Data and application infrastructure will be enabled as repeatable code.A Full Scope Polygraph is required for this position, no exceptions.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate supports critical mission objectives in near real-time designing, engineering, and maintaining systems so that key mission applications are available to a large community of mission users. Candidates keep the data applications and supporting infrastructure available to support the mission 24x7. Interested candidates will also develop dashboards and automated alerting mechanisms to monitor infrastructure, containerized applications, and to restore infrastructure services in real-time.Mandatory Requirements

Full Scope Polygraph

Experience using Ansible for delivery of infrastructure as code.

Experience working with Docker for containerization of software.

Experience usingKubernetes for container orchestration and automation of software deployment, scaling, and management.

Experience with AWS in the customer space.

High level of proficiency using the Gitdistributed version control systemto track changes in source code, manage branches, and facilitate collaboration among developers.

Same level of skill working with Gitlab as a central hub for teams to collaborate and automate their software development processes.

2-5 years experience using REST APIs to call RESTful services.

Familiar with Linux variants particularly Rocky. Knowledge of legacy Linux baselines such as Centos is also beneficial.Knowledgeable in Node.js type architectures

Desirable Skills

General understanding of clustered applications Apache NiFi and Zookeeper familiarity, in particular.

Familiarity with data ETL processes.

Experience with a variety of scripting languages including bash and Python.

Working level familiarity with Elasticsearch and kibana, particularly for design and deployment of dashboards.
