DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is seeking a Data Center oversight SETA, with strong verbal and written communication skills, to assist a government customer with the oversight of a data center support services contract. The successful applicant will exhibit flexibility in task execution, provide technical expertise on local site requirements, deliver continuity of effort coordination, and demonstrate value-added judgment while advising local and remote government customers on site activities.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:The successful candidate must be able to:Produce recommendations and deliverables in a thorough, practical, and consistent manner congruent with the organization's objectivesFacilitate customer focused IT infrastructure provisioningOversee the management of planning, allocation, and utilization of Power, Space, and Cooling (P/S/C) resourcesReview, provide feedback, and implement enterprise data center directives, processes, and proceduresDevelop and manage site-level P/S/C metrics development and data distribution to stakeholdersCoordinate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with Acquisition Offices and systems owners to facilitate requirements analysisReview and comment on Request For Changes (RFCs) that impact the data center s P/S/C resources, and communicate those impactsAssist with the shaping, development, and documentation of data center project funding requestsAssist with planning data center renovation and upgrade activitiesProvide written and oral project-level briefings to stakeholdersQualificationsREQUIRED:Bachelors in a STEM related field and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters in a STEM related field and seven (7) years or more experience; or ten (10) plus years of data center management experience in lieu of a degreeMust be a U.S. CitizenClearance required: TS/SCI with PolygraphDESIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:Data Center Facilities ManagementData Center Certified Associate (DCCA)Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC)Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP)Data Center Technician Professional (DCTP)Data Center Design Professional (DCDP)Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP)Certified data center professional (e.g., BICSI)Data Center Infrastructure Specialist (DCIS)SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
