Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Program Analyst in the Washington DC area. This is a contracting firm with over 50 years experience in offering analysis and business solutions to clients in the DoD, Homeland Security, etc. - lots of growth opportunity!
Navy SWO or Submarine experience, Naval Reactors, NRC, Strategic Planning or Acquisition (any OPNAV, PEO, IWS, DDG, CG, SSBN, SSGN, SSN.) Cybersecurity & Intel + wargaming/modeling from any branch is good.
Experience with Submarines, the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons System, nuclear power or nuclear weapons programs highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates! *
Compensation: $120,000 base
What You Will Do: Support the development and acquisition of a major Naval weapons system. Will spend a majority of time at the Washington Navy Yard, minimal time/travel to the Alexandria VA area.
Serve as an Action Officer for the effort (includes coordination and execution of planning meetings and client projects in support of various acquisition efforts.)
Gather information from various sources and conduct analysis of information to inform program decisions; present results to peers and senior leadership within client and partner organizations.
Education and Work Experience:
Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret)
4 year degree required (STEM degree preferred)
10+ Years of experience in an engineering, acquisition, or development effort, or 10+ years of military service.
Highly Preferred: experience with any of the following: Submarines, the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons System, nuclear power, the National Nuclear Security Administration or other nuclear weapons programs.
