Position Title: Graduate Student Activities Coordinator Job Description: The Graduate Student Activities Coordinator position is responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Student Activities in the facilitation and staffing of (Palmieri Activities Center) PAC events.
Staff various small, medium and large-scale Activities Management Program (AMP) events
Process and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data gathered for AMP and PAC event participants.
Attend operational meetings with the Director of Student Activities
Assist in the coordination of AMP and PAC events such as trips, conferences, meetings, etc.
Fill in as a substitute for the PAC student workers when needed
Provide on-call and on-site support for pre-designated events and trips
Assist the office with other responsibilities as needed within scope of time commitment of position
Select night and weekend hours will be required.
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The appointed individual will:
Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent with bachelor's degree preferred.
Have experience with administrative skills including Microsoft Office and organizing and tracking files with preference given to a candidate with experience working in a college setting.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to deliver training presentations and programs.
Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relations with colleagues, coworkers, constituents, and volunteers.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, faculty, students, and the community in a service-oriented environment.
Experience with Workday, Microsoft Office and/or student engagement software.
