Responsibilities & QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES* Formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications.* Modify/maintain complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.* Design, code, test, debug, and document complex existing applications.* Provide overall operating system maintenance, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.* Assist all phases of software systems programming applications.* Evaluate new and existing software products.* Provide application administration support for RPA platforms, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance.* Administer application security measures to uphold the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.* Conduct web administration tasks to optimize performance and functionality.* Support the operation, administration, and maintenance of EC Portfolio applications and services.* Install, implement, administer, and maintain hardware/software in hosting environments.* Capture and address performance issues, recommending and implementing upgrades, updates, and enhancements.* Troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems, coordinating with system administrators and stakeholders.* Ensure compliance with configuration management plans and DOD security policies.* Conduct routine backups and configuration management of EC Portfolio solutions.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* Experience:* Five (5) years relevant experience* Certifications:* DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I* A+ CE* CCNA - Security* CND* Network+ CE* SSCP* SEC+ CE* Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.* Clearance:* Must possess a Secret ClearanceOverviewWe are seeking a Software Systems Engineer to join our DLA Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Services Support Remotely in the DMV area.TekSynap is a fast-growing high-tech company that understands both the pace of technology today and the need to have a comprehensive well planned information management environment.
