Summary/Objective:


In keeping with our organizations goal of improving the lives of the Residents we serve, the (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant safeguards the health, safety and welfare of all Residents under their care by following applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.

Qualifications for the (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:




  • High school diploma or equivalent.




  • Registered with the state as a GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant




Responsibilities as a (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:




  • Provide safe daily resident care




  • Transport and assist in ambulating residents




  • Maintain a clean and safe resident unit




  • Bathe, dress, and feed residents




  • Document and communicate resident care information




  • Promote and support positive guest relations to all visitors and residents
