Required Licenses and Certifications
Speech-Language Pathologist (Required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and state licensure or CF eligible (Required)
Functional Accountabilities
Conduct Patient Evaluations
* Evaluate patients using standard and special procedures.
Patient Contact Hours
* Meet department standards for patient contact hours.
Self-Manage
* Assume responsibility for working independent of direct supervision in ROC or Hospital.
Clinical Reports
* Report test results accurately using appropriate format.
* Prepare evaluation reports within department timeline.
Safety
* Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance
* Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation
* Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation
