Life Enrichment Coordinator - Independent Living - Part time (less than 30hrs per week and some weekends)

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Independent Living Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordinating and directing of a wide and varied scope of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental needs of the residents in Independent. As needed assist with coordinating activities with Assisted Living, Memory Care, as well as Skilled/Comprehensive Nursing Unit.

Primary Job Duties

1. Plan, coordinate and direct a robust program of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in some area of lifestyle activity.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with lecturers, volunteers, community resources, performers, etc. who can provide programming to the residents.

3. Plan, coordinate and direct a robust calendar of events and programs by meeting with residents to determine their needs and desires and then scheduling community drivers or outside resources.

4. Maintains the master calendar of community events (ie. Life Enrichment, Marketing, HR, RVP Board & Foundation, etc.) as well as providing direction/documentation to Plant Operation team for set ups (ie. room set up sheet for various functions, activities, meetings, etc.)

5. Will oversee and manage the transportation department to ensure resident satisfaction as well as maintaining operations (scheduling, reducing overtime, utilizing Lyft as needed, etc.)

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

* High school diploma or GED required

* Associate's degree preferred

* Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
