Who We're Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry is searching for a Director to lead our National Security line of business. This is an operations position that will also work with the Growth Team to capture new work. We are seeking a growth-focused, entrepreneurial leader to help build and grow the account. This key leadership position demands a strategic, results-driven professional with deep knowledge of national security operations and a strong background in business development. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
Leadership: Leads the National Security team to successful program execution and growth.
Client Management: Builds and maintains key client relationships to support growth, delivery excellence and problem resolution.
Delivery: Responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of services to our customers.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of industry-related experience
Top Secret security clearance
5+ years working in the national security industry with both delivery and growth responsibilities.
Current active professional relationships with both national security clients and supporting partner firms.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Coordinate division activities to ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of operations and maximizing revenue.
Assess project performance indicators and take appropriate actions to ensure staffing, schedule, cost, service, and risk management goals are met.
Maintain programmatic accountability and develop strong client relationships with the CO, COR and government leadership.
Proven ability to build teams while providing coaching and mentorship.
Ability to work with the HR department to recruit, on-board, and retain cleared talent and minimize attrition.
Possess strong knowledge and an established network within a broad range of DOJ and DHS organizations, including FBI, CISA, and CBP.
Strong networking and relationship development skills with the proven ability to leverage existing partnerships across small, medium, and large businesses and build new relationships.
Strong executive presence with the ability to interact and deliver high level customer service to clients, specifically those in leadership roles.
Highly Charismatic and comfortable engaging "C" level down to programs.
Maintain collaborative and productive internal relationships with corporate offices/departments/divisions and other regions.
Entrepreneurial team player who delivers results
Experience leading an organization, including translating overall enterprise goals into an executable strategy.
Proven track record of success within a growing organization or within the federal government.
Perform initial analysis of potential new contract opportunities and assist in growing the business by acquiring projects and programs that align to division and cross company capabilities.
Superior management skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports, peers and a broad range of external stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of government contracts including contract types, contract actions, and procurement processes.
MUST be a self-starter.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Great project and time management skills required.
