JOB SUMMARY
The School of Counseling at Marymount University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Applicants are encouraged to apply who have a strong commitment to teaching and research in the field of professional counseling. Teaching responsibilities include courses in the CACREP core. The standard teaching load is 3/3; other responsibilities include scholarship and service.

- Teaching of courses listed above and availability for office hours
- Advising Mentoring students
- Service to the School and University wide committees
- Scholarly activities that meet the requirement of the School of Counseling
- Must have appropriate license (LPC) and certifications
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
- Knowledge of degree requirements within school, including LPC licensure
- Participation on committees as part of university shared governance

- Assistant: (Minimum requirement) earned doctorate or 1 year from dissertation completion
- Associate: Experience in teaching that meets the university requirements will be considered for Associate rank to include teaching experience and record of scholarship
