Job description

OverviewTo research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain CI/CD tooling and pipelines, and deliver Azure infrastructure for development teams. To provide technical direction and DevOps engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Automate and improve development and release processes and secure the deployment process by integrating and managing scan tools with the pipelines. Demonstrate effective usage of Design Patterns, build, and maintain software in an Agile, fast paced DevOps environment. Collaborate with technology and business partners. Develop and maintain expert functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for complete life-cycle project managementEstablish and lead project teamsResponsible for Designing and Implementing Identity and Access Management for Azure DevOpsResponsible for managing and supporting applications hosted on Kubernetes and support Helm Charts/Docker files for deploymentResponsible for the execution of DevSecOps functions in the areas of user support, application installations and upgrades, system vulnerability scanning, certificate management, analysis of security monitoring outputs, coordination of remediation patching, and other strategic DevSecOps initiativesProvide hands on customization, integrations, and custom script development for various toolsSupport, administer, and optimize various CI/CD tools and processesProvide setup, configuration, support, troubleshooting, usage guidance, and training to our users for supported toolsEnhance existing and implement new tools to integrate with continuous delivery systemsProvide effective solutions to complex engineering problems and evaluate various tools, applications, and plug-insProvide documentation for user training and supportEmbrace Agile development methodologySupport tools such as Backduck, checkmarx, SonarQube, Threadfix, and Artifactory, etc.Provide technical support and leadership on a wide variety of industry-leading toolsDevelop deployment automation and Azure pipelines for workload in Azure including (AKS, Azure Data Factory, Azure KeyVaults, etc.) using Azure DevOpsWrite, test, and examine code, work with software developers and software engineers to ensure development follows established processes and patternsOccasional support after regular hours during production release and Tool's upgrade/Migration processEnsure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practicesLead, guide, and mentor junior staffQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceExperience administering and managing access management with Azure DevOpsSignificant experience designing and supporting Azure environments, Azure DevOps, including IaaS and PaaSExtensive experience in Azure SQL and Azure NoSQL, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure APIs and Event Hub, Azure Storage Solutions, and Azure Log AnalyticsDevelop deployment automation and Azure pipelines for workload in Azure including (AKS, Azure Data Factory, Azure KeyVaults, etc.) using Azure DevOpsExperience working with ARM Templates and Experience with administering Identity and Access Management for Azure DevOpsExperience in shell scripting, Python scripting and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning non-prod and production environmentsHands on experience administering Linux OS and Windows OSExperience administering and managing access management with Azure DevOpsSignificant experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise tools and services such as SonarQube, Jfrog Artifactory, Checkmarx, and BlackduckExperience with deploying COTS platforms to Kubernetes using Helm charts and Docker imagesExperience using Unix/Linux as a DevOps environment (e.g. install, configure, and integrate DevOps tools with Active Directory and Databases)Ability to train IT product delivery teams on accurate use of CICD tools and capabilitiesStrong consulting and mentoring skillsHands-on experience coordinating and performing vulnerability assessments and remediationExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a desire to share knowledge through creation and refinement of written contentExpert research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced organizational, planning and time management skillsAdvanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsDesired QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertHours:
