As the Director of DoD Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue within the Department of Defense sector. You will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to expand our presence, win new business, and cultivate key relationships within the DoD and related agencies. Occasional onsite days in Fairfax, VA
Responsibilities:
$170,000 - $230,000 a year
This position includes a commission structure.
As the Director of DoD Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue within the Department of Defense sector. You will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to expand our presence, win new business, and cultivate key relationships within the DoD and related agencies. Occasional onsite days in Fairfax, VA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the DoD sector, aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prime contracts, subcontracts, and partnerships, within the DoD market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the DoD and related agencies.
- Lead the capture process for major opportunities, including opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes affecting the DoD market, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Represent [Company Name] at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our capabilities and network with potential clients and partners.
