N Who manages ventilators: Respiratory Therapy Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: (For example: Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; Weaning; Nebulizer to Inhaler; Starting IVs, performing venipuncture, Performing EKGs; Discontinuing sheaths) IR: lines, drains. Comprehensive stroke center: so inter cranial bleeds with stents, clot removal. Tumors, liver ablations, nephrology tubes, biliary tubes, declot, fistulas, put tunnel line in, LP with chemo. Works closely with critical transport teamAdditional Unit Specific Information: Look for experience IR or Rec Room nurses that have strong monitoring skills, conscious sedation. Critical Care Background a must. If not IR skilled, ER or ICU or PACU with ICU experience works well here. Typical procedure is: roll in room, comfort and safety of patient. Sedation. Nurse is the eyes and ears of the patient. IMC type of acuity for 1 hr. post sedation, can hold up to 2-3 hrs. ICU go back to room to recover when able. Unit does trauma cases. Critical Care primary nurse may stay with patient if it s a 1:1 patient. Radiology does the sedation and monitoring. Manager will post what area they are looking for; could be pre and post and conscious sedation. Need nurses to work all phases of care, pre, intra and post procedure Comment: Facility is no longer accepting candidates within a 50-mile radius. Do NOT submit candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the hospital.?ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved Interventional Radiology RN - min 2 years exp required- MUST also have critical care experience. BLS, ACLS required. Mix of 8H, 10H and 12H shifts, 36- 40 hours per week. Work history in packet must show of beds, Trauma Level and EMR or they will be dropped. Active MD license/compact required verified by Nursys. COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted, Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. Flu Season begins 10/2/2023. Any candidates starting after 10/2 must have their Flu vaccine or a valid Medical Declination prior to starting. Flu does not need to be in the packet at time of submission, however if they do not receive it or provide a valid medical declination prior to starting, they will not be able to start. Manager will interview and offer. UMMs will not accept professionals that have attended one of these schools identified by the DOJ. These include: Siena College in Broward County, Fla, Palm Beach School of Nursing in Palm Beach County, Fla, Sacred Heart International Institute in Broward County, Sunshine Academy, Quisqeya School of Nursing, Quisqeya Healthcare Academy, Florida College of Health, Ideal Professional Institute and Med Life.
