We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. Allegient Defense helps clients with challenging Science & Technology, Engineering Acquisition, and Program Management Mission requirements. Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Mid-Level Systems Engineer for one of our DoD clients.ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage S&T-related engineering projectsDraft contract support documents within a Science and technology environment.Provide input for system capability requirements documents, key performance parameters, initial capability documents, and capability development documents.Draft key documents such as Statements of Work, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Contract Data Requirement List, and Justification and Approval (J&A).Draft interagency agreements such as Memorandum of Agreements (MoA) and Memorandum of Understandings (MOU).Conduct market analysis and research to evaluate maturity and suitability to inform key documents.Recommend alternatives for effectiveness and performance, cost, schedule, compatibility of concept of operations with existing infrastructure, personnel, doctrine, and overall risk.Examine and provide estimates of material, equipment services, and production costs.Lead the systems engineering definition/executing activities within a projectProvide a comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from mission analysis through verification/validation of system performancePlan and support operations through risk mitigation, cost control, and schedule; effectively manage large-scale, integrated projectsRequirementsBachelor s degree in a STEM related field. Master s degree preferred.5 - 10+ years of relevant experienceHigh Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint, Teams) and AdobeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast paced environmentA TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. There is no exception to the clearance requirementTravel: OCONUS travel may be required. (10%)Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance w/CI Poly
