Experience with DISA JSP desired.Essential Job FunctionsProvide Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Management and SupportAnalyze ECP requirements and develop a proposed technical solution that meets cost/schedule and ECP catalog requirements.Develop and execute ECPs such as customer specific projects, system upgrades, Transport Network Modernization and Optimization, Systems Transitions and Technology refreshment projects.Involved with the full ECP Execution process - project approach, project plans, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown structure (WBS), Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs), Circuit Installation Plans (CIPs) and supporting project design and planning documents and cost elements.Involved with ECP completion and closeout processPrepare ECP updates and deliverables as requiredBasic QualificationsEducation Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Equivalent; Masters Degree Preferred.Clearance Requirements: Active DOD Secret ClearanceYears of Experience:5+ years primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches5+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks2+ years as senior or lead engineer in planning, designing, and building software defined networks3+ years DoD environment; experience with DISA JSP preferred.Certification Requirements:One nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects tied to the proposed solution's routers and switchesIAT Level III in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certificationExperience/Skill Requirement:Outstanding mathematics and IT abilitiesConfiguring and installing various network devices and servicesMonitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, capacity planningUse of current and emergent network design principles and protocolsExperience with network virtualization technologiesExperience with multi-tenant network architecturesFamiliarity with a width variety network routing and switching equipment devices from multiple vendorsScripting languages and coding for network threshold events.MUST BE A US CITIZENThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
