Overview:

Veeco is seeking a process technician to support demos as well as application development. Veeco is well-positioned with great teams, core technologies, and a strong entrepreneurial culture that supports new product development.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate semiconductor processing equipment. Perform setup and calibration of equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform all activities to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Perform engineering experiments following instructions.
  • Monitor, analyze data and process conditions. Document and keep daily logs. Maintain SPC charts.
  • Use standard applications (MS Office) for creating reports and documenting procedure.
  • Maintaining customer and supply logs.
  • Operates metrology and perform visual inspections.
  • Keeps abreast and conforms to all safety requirements
  • Able to do basic tool diagnosis and consult/work with cross-functional teams to maintain tool healthiness.


Minimum Qualifications:

HS diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant experience working in a wafer process environment. Associate's degree or other relevant technical training preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Computer skills: MS Office - Excel, Words and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and good teamwork skills


The expected salary range for this position is $65,811 - $78,974 + bonus + benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
