About the Program:

Ahead of the 2024 election, Movement Labs is launching a political tactic incubator with unprecedented ambition. Our goal is to explore, analyze, and scale innovative strategies that persuade, mobilize, and register voters to counteract Trump's influence. We are committed to investing millions in successful initiatives, focusing on new organizing programs and turnout tactics. These efforts will target low-turnout, high-opportunity voters in marginalized communities, persuade Republican voters toward President Biden, and enhance voter registration efforts.

Location: Remote Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, or Georgia preferred but not required.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: This is a full-time, exempt position through November 15, 2024
About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support the Vice President of Political Innovation in managing this incubator. This strategic, process-heavy and management-heavy role involves:

  • Vetting and scoping projects for viability
  • Developing and implementing an equitable and efficient hiring process.
  • Supporting and growing teams tasked with researching and executing innovative electoral programs.
  • Creating systems to evaluate the return on investment for pilot projects, specifically looking at staff time and cost.
  • Building systems to support clear and consistent communication across teams and departments.
  • Monitoring and managing program expenditures to ensure accurate accounting and budget integrity.
  • Managing staff.
  • Working across departments to ensure all wheels are turning and balls are not dropped.
  • Overseeing the achievement of weekly goals and ensuring that deadlines are met consistently.
This is a detail-oriented role, focused heavily on supporting staff on execution and reports to the Vice President of Political Innovation.

  • Is experienced in digital and field organizing with a proven track record in building programs rapidly from scratch.
  • Enjoys people management and feels energized by getting to tackle new challenges.
  • Has outstanding communication skills, adept in both oral and written forms, with a history of successful team growth and management.
  • Is experienced in recruiting, training, hiring, and onboarding campaign staff.
  • Has experience in working with diverse groups and across multiple states, including Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia (preferred but not required).
  • Has a deep commitment to progressive electoral outcomes and re-electing Joe Biden.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on execution, and is committed to making a significant impact in the political landscape through innovative, data-driven approaches.

Benefits

Compensation: $65,000-$70,000, depending on experience

Movement Labs employees receive excellent health, dental, and vision benefits, 401k, work-from-home stipends, and unlimited Paid Time Off. This position does not qualify as a bargaining unit position.
