Job Summary:

Interim Health Care Northern VA is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position in the franchise industry. This is PRN work and shifts are in four hour increments. There is the ability to be part time or to pick up additional shifts for full time work. We are looking for the following shifts: 7-3, 3-11, 11pm-7am, for weekdays and weekends. The CNA will work with our team to provide exceptional care to our clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In this individual contributor role, the CNA will assist with the daily living activities of our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Compensation & Benefits:

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Monitor and record clients vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse
Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by the supervising nurse
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met
Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required by Interim Health Care Northern VA
Adhere to all policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Virginia
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients
Flexible availability to accommodate client needs, including weekends and evenings
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
