Job description

We Have An Exciting Opportunity For Business Analysts (Workforce) to Join Our Team In Support Of The ITOPS TSS Endeavor (formerly Known As CRISP) At The US Department Of Veteran's Affairs. Come Join Our Great Team In The Ongoing Effort To Strengthen And Maintain IT Security Across The VA Network, And Play a Vital Role In Support Of Those Who Have Served The USA. These Business Analyst Positions Include:

Business Analyst (Workforce), Senior - Remote and Business Process Workforce Analyst - Remote

Business Analyst (Workforce), Senior - Remote

Responsibilities:

Perform as an individual contributor and prioritize deliverables with minimal guidance on client engagement teams. Act as a human capital and strategic change communications subject matter expert to assist with the structured methodology and approach for client efforts. Comprehend client needs to design and develop effective and comprehensive solutions, including the analysis, development and delivery of workforce solutions applying adult learning theories. Will be expected to apply experience to effectively working with human capital policy for Federal Agencies and communicating new human capital initiatives.

May Also Be Expected To:

Perform qualitative analyses and support the development of recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to human capital, strategy, organization structure, process and management practices.Provide support to data collection activities, including research, interviews, and focus groups to address people-related impacts or human capital implications of cyber workforce transformation efforts.Identify and determine potential solutions to highly complex and ambiguous issues in cyber workforce and support the implementation of strategic change communications solutions such as guidebooks, playbooks, standard operating procedures and process/training guidelinesSupport identification of opportunities to improve client performance, improve operations, and increase process efficiency.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of working experience (including internships) in organizational improvement with a focus on human capital, such as: strategic or operational workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, organizational design, workforce demand/supply analysis, recruiting strategy development, competency modeling and assessment, leadership development/coaching, or succession planningExperience with delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentExperience with delivering high professional judgmentExperience with Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of the human capital and talent life cycles

Additional Qualifications (nice To Have)

Possession of excellent consulting, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsExperience with the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework and/or DoD 8140BA or BS degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field

Business Process Workforce Analyst - Remote

Responsibilities:

Act as a human capital subject matter expert to assist with the structured methodology and approach for client efforts addressing people-related impacts of cybersecurity transformation efforts.Comprehend the client needs to design and develop effective and comprehensive solutions.Apply experience in using data to develop cost versus benefit assessments around recommended solutions.Analyze trends and communicate results to the project team that will assist with the decision-making process.Perform as an individual contributor and prioritize deliverables with minimal guidance on client engagement teams.Support identification of opportunities to improve client performance, improve operations, and increase process efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in organizational improvement with a focus on human capital, including strategic or operational workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, organizational design, workforce demand, supply analysis, recruiting strategy development, competency modeling and assessment, leadership development or coaching, or succession planningExperience in conducting cost-benefit assessments, delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentExperience with Microsoft OfficeStrongly prefer knowledge of NICE Cyber Workforce Framework and/or DoD 8140Knowledge of the human capital and talent life cyclesAbility to obtain a security clearanceHS diploma or GED and 13+ years of experience as a business analysis or BS degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, CS, Cost Accounting, Business Operations, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Industrial Psychology, or science or technical field and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Additional Qualifications

Experience with structuring and conducting quantitative and qualitative data gathering and analyses activities, including interviews, focus groups, and surveysPossession of excellent consulting, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsExperience with external consulting or professional services firmPublic Trust clearance
