Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Windows systems running on 2012/2016/2019.
- Troubleshooting, patching, backing up/restoring of VMs, and deploying new VMs.
- Patching servers monthly or on a needed basis for vulnerabilities.
- Resolve daily issues on Windows servers and escalate if assistance is required.
- Troubleshoot issues on Windows AD and resolve help desk tickets.
- Must be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements.
- Must be available for 24x7 on-call rotation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Should have working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks.
- Identify backup failures of VMs and work with the Backup admin to resolve the issues.
- Manage file mounts, monitor space usage, and increase as appropriate.
- Reset passwords, create accounts, and assign permission.
