Title: Cyber Security Senior Location: Herndon, VA Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph needed to apply Company Overview: Cornerstone Defense, in partnership with our military, intelligence, and civil government customers, supports U.S. operations worldwide through the use of many different types of intelligence, satellite, and cyber technologies. Cornerstone's Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks. The Cybersecurity Analyst will support the team in the following activities (including but not limited to): Using knowledge of adversary techniques, actively search customers systems and networks for potential cyber threatsAnalyze system/network information and develop defense measures to eliminate or reduce the effect of cybersecurity threatsPropose fixes to identified system weaknessesCollaborate with other security groups to create recommendations for architectural mitigations, data collection and analytics, and future cyber defense or security compliance capabilitiesDocument cybersecurity activities for collaboration with mission partnersSupport collaborative exchanges on cybersecurity topicsPerform cybersecurity testing of existing security capabilitiesParticipate in the customers daily security stand up meeting Required Education, Experience, & Skills:A minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience (i.e., cyber threat hunting, penetration testing, cyber incident response) or a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience with Bachelors or Masters degreesKnowledge of networking and general cybersecurity conceptsKnowledge of Windows and Linux security conceptsAbility to effectively communicate findings at all levels through written and verbal methodsEngineering experience to perform cybersecurity testing when needed Preferred Experience, & Skills:Security Operations Center (SOC) experienceCreate a job alert and receive personalised job recommendations straight to your inbox.
