2024-25 Professional Salary Scale based on degree and verified years of experience relevant to position.
Plus a three-step increase for Autism Certified Teacher candidates.

Holds or eligible to hold WV Professional Teaching Certification in Autism covering grades K-5.
A long-term sub or first-class permit can be considered for lack of qualified candidates.
A successful work history and a minimum of three supervisory references required for consideration.
Jefferson County Schools is bound by statute to recommend the most qualified applicants for position vacancies.
