Role Overview

They are looking for a structural engineer with wide ranging experience and competence in investigations, reports, restorations and renovation, field testing and quality observation across a varying and extensive range of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• The assessment, field testing and quality observation of fa ade, roofing and waterproofing systems across multiple building envelope projects.
• Conduct thorough fenestration/fa ade, non-destructive and moisture intrusion investigations and provide reports, proposals and recommendations based on these investigations in line with company administrative policies.
• A broad comprehension of concrete and exterior building systems restoration and renovation.
• Focus on the extension and preservation of the building envelope lifecycle.
• Opportunity to manage and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in an engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineering license is preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of experience in restoration or building science is desirable.
• Building envelope and structural assessment experience.
• Technically astute with a strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, work scopes and project schedules.
• Willingness to travel.
