Job description
Responsibilities:* Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer* Installs trench boxes as necessary* Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures* Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed* Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals* Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities* Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job* Manage quality control and production* Train team members as needed in a hands-on mannerRequirements:* Ability access secured facilities* Ability to operate large excavators with precision* High attention to detailPhysical Requirements:* Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).* Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.* Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
