Job description

Location: **Fairfax, VA** **Technatomy is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as our Customer Advocate within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).** Customer Advocate is a customer service function that focuses on meeting customer expectations. Your primary goal and function are to represent customers interests in company meetings, manage customer experience, help to resolve complaints, and identify customer needs. The right candidate must have strong relationships within VA and already serve in a capacity of trust and inclusion. This **individual must have a broad strategic perspective and demonstrated performance leading a team tasked with developing, implementing, and delivering information technology (IT) solutions to problems on behalf of our nation's veterans.** **Position Summary:**

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* The main role of Technatomy customer advocate is to ensure Technatomy provides client-minded services. You will engage current and potential customers in face-to-face discussions to identify customer needs and preferences. In this role, you will engage with top decision-makers, top executives, shareholders, and other stakeholders to present ideas or solutions for consideration. Extend and build strong relationships with VA clients to better understand and proactively respond to their needs, promote Technatomy full services offerings and help clients meet their strategic and tactical goals.

* Act as Technatomy lead, trusted advisor, and business partner, identify client needs and developing business process and technology solutions that solve critical issues and support organizational priorities.

* Develop and manage VA opportunities pipelines to identifying and establishing prime and partner opportunities to gain access to market opportunities.

* Participate and represent Technatomy at conferences, gatherings, and other events where partners and clients are meeting.

* Work in partnership with Technatomy Business Development, leadership, and proposal managers to develop and implement detailed win strategies and tactics, holding primary responsibility for the pre-RFP capture/marketing effort and negotiations with internal and external teammates.

* Respond to request for information (RFI) or sources sought requests as appropriate, coordinating the requisite resources needed for a response and ensuring the right message is conveyed for the RFI response and in consideration of Technatomys winning strategy.

**Key Success Indicators:**

* Prior project experience should have 10+ years of experience working on US Federal projects or programs, with a minimum of 5 years successfully serving in VA as a government employee, business development or capture management role with a successful sales track record.

* Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest level of VA customer administrations.

* Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators.

* Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client-facing, and client relationship-building skills.

* Ability to travel to different client sites in the greater DC metropolitan area and around the US.

* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

* Strong, proactive leadership capabilities.

* Results-oriented with a strong record of accomplishment of delivering for their team.

* Patience and people skills to achieve effective progress, anticipate problems, and keep project and pursuit activities moving forward.

* Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client-facing, and client relationship-building skills.

* Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant technical field

* VA clearance is highly desired

**Education:** BS or BA in related discipline desired

**Work Location:** Headquarters, Fairfax VA
