Job Description **Primary Location**

: Americas-US-MD-Elkton Manufacturing Assembler - 220338 Gore products help control emissions, optimize processes, and deliver long-term value across manufacturing types. Learn more at **About the Role:** We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler for our facility located in Elkton, Maryland. In this role, you will set-up, operate, and clean equipment in a clean concept manufacturing environment. This postion is for the night shift. Standard weekly hours are Sunday-Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am. **About the Industry:**

Please note that evening, night, and weekend shift positions are eligible for shift differential pay. **Responsibilities:**

* Run simple machines

* Inspect parts cut from laminate or membrane and perform testing

* Cross-train in the long term including various production equipment and processes, testing, packaging, heat treating, and other machine operation

* Perform detailed and accurate record keeping and process documentation

* Perform data entry and systems transactions

* Follow written specifications and work instructions

* Participate in continuous improvement activities

* Follow Clean Concepts and ISO guidelines

* Learn, support, and practice the Gore culture

**Required Qualifications:**

* Experience running simple mechanical equipment

* Experience in prioritizing and performing multiple tasks

* Demonstrated manual dexterity, attention to small details, the ability to make good product decisions, and the ability to lift (up to 35 lbs.), bend, and inspect for extended periods of time

* Commitment to meet or exceed manufacturing schedules

* Documentation skills and basic math skills

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Basic computer skills and ability to learn more advanced computer applications

* Flexibility - demonstrated ability to adapt to changes quickly

* Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

* Willingness to work overtime

**Desired Qualifications:**

* Previous manufacturing or small part inspection experience

* Proven mechanical aptitude
