Our work depends on a motivated PROGRAM MANAGER joining our Personnel Vetting and Security team to support a large federal background investigations (BI) program located in Chantilly, VA.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a PROGRAM MANAGER, you will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. Focused on our Nation's security, BIs are required to determine an individual's suitability for employment with the federal government, eligibility for access to classified information, assignment to or retention in positions with sensitive duties, or other designated duties requiring such investigations. The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individual's life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974. In this role, a typical day will include:* Overseeing and managing operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management* Performing day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple remote locations* Reviewing status of projects and budgets, financial forecasting, managing schedules, and preparing status reports, and contract and policy review* Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives* Your success will be measured through ensuring all work performed is of the highest quality while meeting customer's needs within funding, scheduling and staffing constraintsWHAT YOU'LL NEED:* 5 years of combined personnel security and investigative experience at the state or federal level with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 years of combined personnel security and investigative experience at the state or federal level with an Associate's Degree (Required)* Must be able to obtain a TS clearance (Required)* Program Management experience (Required)* Experience with Intelligence Community Security stakeholders (Preferred)* Above average computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Required)GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:* Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home* 401K with company match* Comprehensive health and wellness packages* Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career* Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications* Cutting-edge technology you can learn from* Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
