A Butcher in Nelson Bay is seeking a full-time 1st Year Butcher Apprentice.

The Butchery prides themselves on providing top quality meat products to the local public, restaurants, pubs & clubs.

The position will entail selecting, cutting, trimming, preparing and arranging meat for sale and supply, operating meat and smallgoods processing machines, and managing the processes in the production of smallgoods.

Applicants must:

* Be passionate about working in the Food Production industry,

* Be committed to a three year apprenticeship and completing Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher),

* Have reliable transport,

* Be physically fit,

* Have a high attention to detail,

* Be able to follow instructions and

* Have completed CareerGate 3 General Aptitude Assessment.
