Maximus is looking for an experienced and technical Implementation Manager who will work with new clients we acquire, to implement Maximus applications and processes and ensure a successful partnership.
This person will be responsible for leading effective and consistent implementations of new clients by:
Managing all client contact throughout the implementation of the project
Tracking and posting all implementation activities and documents to the collaboration server,
Leading and participating in requirement and process analysis sessions and interviews
Creating MSProject schedules to align with required timeline and scope (per RFP)
Creating and reviewing project deliverables
Maintain project forecasts and budgets.
Collaborating with various functional and technical teams (MAXIMUS and external partners) to ensure timeline, complete, and accurate implementations.
Contribute to corporate repository of project standards and proposal writing.
Performing other duties assigned.
This person must also be able to travel up to 25-50% of the time to client sites.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
At least four (4) years of project management experience, PMP certification preferred.
Possess computer skills, including intermediate to expert skills in MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all segments of the population.
Have the ability to work as a team member and independently.
Have experience in managing both staff and processes, deadline-oriented work, budgets and revenue and profitability.
Have experience leading projects spanning multiple knowledge and functional disciplines with Health or Human Services experience a plus.
Essential Duites and Responsibilities: - Manage the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. - Responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees. - Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. - Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. - Act as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems. - Develop and administer schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. - Frequently interact with subordinate employees, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. - Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. - Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. - Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. - Recommend changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
